Terms of service
Plain-English terms for using RoundRobinGenerator.com and its browser extension.
Who we are
RoundRobinGenerator.com (“we”, “us”) is operated from the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@roundrobingenerator.com.
The service
We provide free tools to create and run tournaments: schedules, brackets, scoring, standings, sharing and printing. Using them doesn’t require an account. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever charge for optional features, we’ll say so clearly before you pay, and nothing you already use for free will be taken away without notice.
Your tournaments and content
- Tournaments are stored on your device. Keep a backup (Download backup) if they matter to you. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
- You’re responsible for what you enter, including participant names. Only use names you have permission to use. For children, follow your club’s or school’s policy.
- If you publish a live link, the tournament becomes viewable by anyone with the link. Don’t include private or sensitive information.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to publish unlawful, hateful or harassing content, to impersonate others, or to attack, overload or scrape it. We may remove live links that break these terms, or that we’re legally asked to remove.
Live links
Live links are a free, best-effort feature. Links nobody has updated for 120 days are deleted automatically. You can stop a link at any time. Scorer links let anyone holding them enter results, so share them only with people you trust, and turn them off when you’re done.
Rules and accuracy
Sport presets are editable starting points, not official governing-body rules. Swiss pairing is a general system, not FIDE’s Dutch system. Check schedules, times and standings before you rely on them, especially for prizes or official results.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or always online.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, lost data, or losses caused by relying on a schedule or result without checking it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Privacy
How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy, including cookies.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version, and significant changes will be noted on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the mandatory protections of your local law and may bring claims in your local courts.
